DR. ALAN J. BAUMAN

MD, ABHRS, IAHRS, FISHRS, Founder, CEO & Medical Director

Dr. Bauman is a board-certified hair restoration physician with nearly three decades of experience in hair restoration and hair health. He has revolutionized the fight against hair loss through his innovative blend of surgical expertise and product development. As the founder and medical director of Bauman Medical, he has treated more than 36,000 patients and performed over 14,000 hair transplant surgeries, developing a deep understanding of hair follicle biology and the conditions required for long-term hair vitality. Through this work, he discovered that exceptional results are sustained through consistent, preventative care that supports the scalp and hair at a foundational level.

Dr. Bauman developed these hair health products to bring his medical insight into refined, everyday rituals using carefully selected, science-backed ingredients. Each formula is thoughtfully crafted to support scalp balance, strengthen hair at the root, and promote resilient, healthy-looking hair over time.

Beyond his product innovations, Dr. Alan J. Bauman (MD, ABHRS, IAHRS, FISHRS) is distinguished by a compassionate, patient-centered philosophy and an individualized artistic approach to protecting, enhancing, and restoring the appearance of the hair. This unique perspective sets him apart from non-specialists and other practitioners in the field.

His medical journey began after receiving his M.D. degree from New York Medical College, followed by surgical residency training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, and specialized hair transplant Fellowship training in New York. Since establishing his practice in Boca Raton in 1997, Dr. Bauman has become one of only approximately 200 physicians worldwide to achieve certification from the American and International Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS). He is also an accepted member of the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS), recommended by the American Hair Loss Association, and has achieved the coveted Fellow status within the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (FISHRS).

A true pioneer in the industry, Dr. Bauman was the first-ever hair transplant surgeon accepted as an Intercoiffure Industry Partner and has served as a member of the Pantene Hair Research Institute. He is a frequently invited faculty member at international scientific meetings and the author of numerous articles and textbook chapters on the science of hair transplantation, including eyelash transplant surgery.

This commitment to clinical excellence and innovation has earned him significant acclaim; he was voted “#1 Top Hair Restoration Surgeon” in North America by Aesthetic Everything for ten consecutive years, named "Top Hair Restoration Surgeon of the Decade," and recognized by Forbes as one of "10 CEOs Transforming Healthcare in America."

Kimberly Jenkins, WTS brings over a decade of hands-on experience in hair and scalp health. A WTS-Certified Trichologist, and Bauman Certified HairCoach™, she has worked extensively with patients across a wide range of scalp conditions through comprehensive trichology assessments and therapeutic scalp treatments at Bauman Medical. Her career reflects a deep, practical understanding of scalp health, earned through years of patient care, continuous education, and application of science-backed techniques.

Her expertise is supported by advanced clinical training, including certification in Polarized Light Microscopy from the Italian Academy of Hair Microscopy and fellowship-level education in evidence-based hair science under dermatologist Dr. Jeff Donovan. In addition to patient care, Kimberly educates industry professionals as sharing her real-world clinical insight and treatment experience.
